The Heart Of Yuma was originally published in an edition of four on handmade paper by Ocotillo Arts in 1993. In 1995 an expanded text was published as a unique copy with 20 original gum-bichromate photographs on handmade paper by Ocotillo Arts. This version has been recreated here as a web text and illustrations for online reading.

In 2003 the family of Yuma texts was expanded again with a set of ten 13x19 plates grouped under the title The Prisoner of Yuma; or, The Struggle Of the Text. A single copy of the whole Project was printed and presented in a 19x24 box.

In 2009 two new versions of the Project were made, both bound in found 19th century leather casings, 8x12, boxed, with the ten plates of the Prisoner included as foldouts.
